As an educator, my objective is to instruct and create an art program that teaches encouragement, creativity, problem solving and risk taking. I strive to reinforce the art elements and the principles of design along with integrating other subjects such as history, geography, math, and psychology.

Oil Painting Workshop “Painting a Winter Landscape”

This class is designed for all levels Beginners to advanced. Learn new paint fundamentals and techniques to improve your painting skills.

“Drawing from the Figure for beginners”

This beginner drawing class is for those who want to improve their drawing skills while drawing from the figure.

There will be a focus on learning the correct proportions and anatomy of the figure while drawing from a life model , as well as portrait drawing..

“Improving Your Drawing and Painting Skills For Teens”

This is a drawing and painting class for the middle school and high school student ages 13-18 who want to improve their drawing and painting skills. There will be a focus on learning interesting compositions, perspective knowledge in drawing and practice with color mixing and handling the paint brush.

Private Instruction: Painting & Drawing from Observation

Students will create a variety of pieces. Some will utilize observation, on-location and others drawing directly from the model. Through these private sessions, students receive a unique personal instruction where they can really develop and hone their skills.
